What does it mean to be a PlaySpan Verified Seller?

PlaySpan Verification increases the security of the PlaySpan Commerce Network. Verified members are those who have successfully completed PlaySpan's verification system to establish their identity with us. Currently we only allow verified sellers to sell on our network. A verified seller agrees to provide personal as well as financial information. The verification process varies by country or region. For example, in the U.S., a verified member has added and confirmed a bank account with PlaySpan. In all cases, the verification process establishes that the seller is entitled by law to send and receive money, and buyers are buying with their own payment credentials.

Why does PlaySpan ask its members to become Verified?

PlaySpan encourages members to become verified to increase trust and safety in our community. Because financial institutions screen their account holders, PlaySpan's verification process increases security and compliance requirements when you pay or when PlaySpan pays to its sellers or affiliates.
