How long will it take before my account is activated ?
Upon registering an account with PlaySpan™, you will immediately receive an account activation (“Welcome to PlaySpan”) e-mail. You can activate your account by clicking the activation link in this e-mail.
If you did not receive the account activation email within 24 hours of registration with PlaySpan™, please write to customer support at support@playspan.com with the “Username” and “Email address” you used at the time of registration with PlaySpan™.
I never received my account activation e-mail. What now ?
In case you never received the account activation e-mail, please be sure to check your Junk/Spam folder.
If you did not receive the account activation e-mail within 24 hours of registration with PlaySpan™, please write to customer support at support@playspan.com with the “Username” and “Email address” you used at the time of registration with PlaySpan™.
Why do I need to verify my e-mail address ?
In an effort to reduce the risk of fraudulent behavior, all players must verify their email address/accounts. Email account verification is used to verify a player's e-mail address before they are permitted to access PlaySpan™ services.
Verification of e-mail helps PlaySpan™ provide a fun and safe experience for everyone. Until you verify your e-mail address, your PlaySpan™ account will be restricted.
Can I reset an e-mail address or should customer support be doing it ?
Sorry, at this time there is no way to reset or update your e-mail settings. Please contact support@playspan.com for further assistance.
How do I secure my account information ?
Make sure your account name is known only to you. Choose passwords that have a mix of alpha and numeric characters. Never share your PlaySpan™ user name and password with anyone verbally, via chat or e-mail.
Maintenance of safe internet practices and safeguarding account login information is highly recommended for a secure PlaySpan™ marketplace experience. This includes changing your password on a consistent basis and being aware of what files you download from other internet users. Keeping your computer’s Internet Security software definitions up to date can help to prevent any breach in your computer’s security.
Why should my Avatar be validated ?
“Avatar validation” lets PlaySpan™ know that you are the real owner of that Avatar. In order to buy virtual items or currency via PlaySpan Player,
we require that you validate your in-game Avatar with PlaySpan™. This is a onetime procedure per Avatar.
I am unable to access my account. What do I do now ?
If you find that you are unable to access your account, please be sure that
- You have entered the correct e-mail/password (Passwords are case sensitive).
- Your internet connection is working properly.
- Contact System Admin if you are at work as the network access may be blocked.
If you still have trouble signing in, please contact customer support at support@playspan.com with a screenshot of the message you have been receiving.
How do I change my PlaySpan™ password ?
If you know your password and want to change it, you can do the following:
- Login to PlaySpan Player
- Click on “My Account” icon at the bottom of the tool
- Select “Change Pwd” tab
- Fill in the password details and click Apply.
How does PlaySpan™ validate my in-game Avatar ?
When you create a new Avatar in the PlaySpan Player, you will receive the token in your in-game mailbox.
You can enter the validation token in the Player to validate your in-game Avatar with PlaySpan™.
I no longer want to use the service, how do I cancel my account ?
Please send an email to support@playspan.com with your cancellation request.
I lost/forgot my password. What do I do now ?
If you have lost/forgotten your password, please follow the steps below to retrieve your password.
- Launch the Player.
- Click on “Forgot Password”.
- Enter the email registered with PlaySpan.
- Answer the Hint Question.
- Click ‘Send’.
- A system generated password will be sent to your registered email address. It is recommended that you change the password when you login for security reasons.
My account is locked. What now ?
You can unlock your account by writing to customer support at support@playspan.com.
Note: Please include your registered e-mail address.
How do I add a new game to my PlaySpan account?
To add a new game to your PlaySpan account, please follow the steps below:
- To add Global MU Online click here
- To add Upshift StrikeRacer click here
- Enter your email address and password registered with PlaySpan and click ‘Login’
- Click ‘Add Game’ and you will receive a message saying “The game has been added to your profile successfully. Please close this browser window for security”.
I already have an account with PlaySpan Megastore. Can I login to PlaySpan Player using my PlaySpan Megastore credentials?
Yes, you can login to the PlaySpan Player using your PlaySpan Megastore credentials.
If you are signing in to the PlaySpan Player for the first time, please follow the steps below:
- Enter your PlaySpan Megastore Email address/password in the PlaySpan Player and click “Sign In”.
- You will receive a message saying “You have no games added to your profile. Please visit our FAQ (Account section).
