What is an Avatar ?

An Avatar is a user or a player’s virtual identity or character in a game. In Upshift, the driver name is the Avatar name that has to be used with PlaySpan player.

 

What can I trade using the PlaySpan Player ?

You can trade cars available in your inventory using the PlaySpan Player.

Please be informed that:

  1. Your car is not equipped at the time of selling.
  2. You cannot sell the default or the original car (Snubby)
  3. You cannot sell a car that you may have already listed.
  4. You cannot sell a car that has a validity period.
  5. You cannot sell “Body Kits/Items”

 

Where can I find the cars that I have purchased with the PlaySpan Player ?

All your purchases will be automatically delivered to you. Your car will be delivered to you via “messenger” which is the in-game mailbox.  Once you open the message, you should be able to see the car that you have purchased. Upon clicking “receive”, the car will be moved to your garage.

 

Do I need to have the car in my inventory, if I want to sell it ?

Yes. In order to sell in the PlaySpan marketplace, you must be in possession of the car. This means the car should be in your inventory at the time of selling.

Please be informed that:

  3. You cannot sell a car that you may have already listed.
  4. You cannot sell a car that has a validity period.
  5. You cannot sell “Body Kits/Items”

 

How do I sell a car using the PlaySpan Player ?

In order to sell cars via PlaySpan Player, you will have to validate your PayPal® / ClickandBuy™ /Alipay account and in-game Avatar (Driver) with PlaySpan™. This is a onetime procedure. Once PayPal® / ClickandBuy™ /Alipay account and in-game Avatar (Driver) is validated, you may follow the steps below to sell.

  1. Click on “Sell” tab.
  2. Select the avatar whose inventory has the car that you wish to put up for sale and click “Find”.
  3. Upon clicking “Find”, a list of cars available in the garage/inventory will be displayed.
  4. Select the car that you that you wish to put up for sale and click “List”.
  5. You will receive a message saying “Successfully created a Listing” along with instructions.

How do I buy a car using the PlaySpan Player ?

In order to buy cars via PlaySpan Player, you must validate your PayPal® / ClickandBuy™ account and in-game Avatar with PlaySpan™. This is a onetime procedure. Once, your PayPal® / ClickandBuy™ /Alipay account and in-game Avatar is validated, you may follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the “Buy” tab.
  2. Browse the catalog or enter the car name in the search option.
  3. Specify the minimum and maximum price range (optional).
  4. List of cars matching your search criteria will be displayed.
  5. Select and double click on the car you wish to buy and the details of the car will be displayed.
  6. Click on “Buy Now”.
  7. You will receive a message saying “Purchase Order put on-hold for review”.

 

The car I want to sell is ‘Permanent’. I do not see an option ‘Permanent’ in the PlaySpan Player.
What do I do now?

The validity period (Expires in - days) that you see in the Player at the time of listing is in reference to the listing and not the car.

For example: If you choose the validity period (Expires in - Days) as 7, this means that the listing is valid for 7 days in marketplace for purchase. If the car listed is not purchased until 7 days, the listing will automatically expire and you will need to list it again.
